Tetris Effect from looking at CAs too long?

Has anyone else gotten tetris effect visual hallucinations etc from staring at cellular automata for too long? I've experienced it when looking at drylife and starwars rules for some time, and when I tried staring at drylife patterns all day as an experiment on top of the usual visuals etc I ended up thinking in terms of patterns instead of words.

EDIT: Perhaps the syndrome that you mentioned also needs a name.

It may happen with rules like Seeds or,even worse, with Generations rules like Seeds but they are unlikely to be interesting and so avoid them.
Have a good day!

Seeds isn't that interesting, but drylife and starwars aren't noisy and produce quite interesting patterns..?
