conwaylife.com in other languages

This forum is insisting on using English language, something that I find to be a problem.
If current trends continue it will be decreasing in importance in favour of other languages like Chinese,Spanish,French,Russian,Arabic,Hindi,Japanese,
German and maybe a few more like Esperanto but only the first four or five are the most likely to be notably important.
I would like to see this forum avaiable in some of them.
The demand is only somewhat high for Chinese as there are plenty of Chinese here but the demand is rising.
Why is this important?
China is growing in power quickly and loads of its people do not know a word of English or hate the West (Or both!).
Spanish - speaking people are flooding USA and are very numerous.
The population of Africa grows quickly and French is important in loads of it.
Russia is very powerful and a foe of the West.
Islam is growing rapidly and the Arabic language rises.
Indian population is growing rapidly and many of its people use Internet in Hindi.
Japanese products are popular in the West and much of Japanese are on Internet.
Swarms of people work
Esperanto seems to be steadily growing and has sparked a rather widespread international culture.
How to do this?
Rather easily. For an example the Chinese version will be conwaylife.com/zh/.

There is likely to be a strong opposition to this but this is a really good idea and if the software allows time will show that it is needed.
What is your opinion?Do you want this feature?
What languages you want to see here?
If you want some other language not mentioned in the poll, please comment.
Have a good day!

My predictions were right and there is a rather large support for this.

16 votes is "large"? There are a total of 67 views, which is fewer than the "99 users online" right now.

Since most work on CA for the last half-century has been published in English, why do you "find [that] to be a problem"? Most of your list are argumentum ad populum fallacies. (Latin is a language you didn't list, by the way.)

Sounds more like the goal is to make information inaccessible by creating little linguistic ghettos.

Besides, anyone who really want discussions in other languages are more than welcome to setup and start their own site(s). And provide content in those languages. Especially Latin.

I agree that it would be nice to be able to have discussions about CA in other languages, but adding different language forums to conwaylife.com just doesn't seem feasible at the moment. It would make things much more difficult to moderate, and it would likely create wholly separate communities with little interaction. As Heinrich Koenig suggested above, if someone wants a non-English-language CA forum, they should set it up on a separate website. If such a website became successful, we would hopefully have some nice multi-lingual users to transfer information between the forums.

Heh, It’s only me who don’t like the feature.
Translating is hard and it is easy to misunderstand.

I would vote for my favorite language. You know that.
