Are there any rules that are capable of constructing big objects out of small seeds(like spacedhip made of 50 cells arising from 10)?

Yes. There are a ton. I'll look for examples now. Can we move this thread to thread for basic non-CGoL questions?

No need.
What I said is a bit simplistic. A ratio like 100:10 is more extreme.

From 5S:

Code: Select all

x = 8, y = 9, rule = B2-an3aejnr4cjnqr5cejn6ei7e/S1c2-ce3jkry4ceiqtz5e7e8
2$3bo$2bo$3bo$2bo$3bo!
#C [[ GRAPH ]]
Minpop: 5
Maxpop: 229
Also, the ratio you said is just 10:1. Did you mean something with minpop 10 and maxpop 100?

Nice.
Anything with that or similar ratio.
What about 1:100 or even 1:1000 ratio?

One of my soup search results in OCA gave me a 19-cell predecessor (see gen 18) to a 2898~4083-cell 235×951 88c/176o spaceship.
This tidy C1 soup generates an ov_q176:

Code: Select all

x = 16, y = 16, rule = B2in3aceir4eity5i6ek7e/S2-in3-aey4ai5ci7c

That's a ridiculously natural, fast, robust frontend engine with a high period and gigantic but clean plume.

So anyways, i'll still sugest to delete the whole thing and move it to the questions thread.
Also, delete my post!

Edit: move to pm, {censored}!

Run in Golly. It forms at around generation 60k. The rule is the one with your p35256 oscillator . Actually Naszvadi had pointed out a 6c/12 engine that can make similar spaceships, but this one is replicator based.

It would be better to post questions like these in the thread for basic non-GoL questions, which would take up less space.

To answer the question, there are a lot; for instance, anything in this thread; for instance, this two-cell seed expands to an object with about 753000000 cells:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 1, rule = B2-ak3acy4aerz5aiqy6-ik7e/S01c2-kn3kny4at5-ekry6ain78
obo!
