Parents (game)

This is a simple game designed like the old sandbox games.
Players post the minimal parent (population or bounding box) of the last pattern.
This thread is CA-related and was not created with the intent of polluting the sandbox.

Edit: I thought of a better idea. This parent has a population of sixteen:
