at first I tried cloud computing because it's cost-efficiency for soup search, until recently I tried spaceship search and reach the discovery of "Anura"&"Soba", make things changed alot.

What would happen when any Behemoth/big tech company step in the field of science computation. They have plenty of "spare" machines. If the at the spot price cannot rent the machines out, why not put them into some "scientific computation"? Good for public relations as well as gain a good reputation. They could raise funding from enthusiast to cover the expense.
Comparing the compute resouces they have, the PC we use just like toys. they would certainly speed up the discovery e.g. more interesting findings on CGoL. We can see better discovers in our lifetime, but certainly we'll lose the true interst of discovery our own patterns.

Anything that could make profit is no longer a hobby/enthusiasm, but an industry.
Who would benefit the most from such transition, certainly the providers of computing resources. No matter enthusiasts or anyone paid for that, it is the providers who beneficial. Most of computings related to our life is virtual, computer gaming or digital data processing. The huge(and cheap) computing finally will excess to the field like science computing, especially the CA-like which can provide visual feedback.

Do you mean the topics in SandBox?
yes, it do give a feelings of "try to have a deep insight but actually express sth no-one-else understand" ..I knew it.
I do had something to say, but it due to my limited ability I didn't elaborate it clearly and make it reasonably. sry for that.
I discussed a little with Ampere that "characteristics" diff between different culture regions. Maybe in my life I value money too much (instead of enjoy the beautiful world).
