Wouldn't the forums be more fun if BBcode supported more features?
Here are the ones that I wish to have:

1. Syntax highlighting
   • There's a phpBB extension for that: https://github.com/s9e/phpbb-ext-highli ... ighlighter
   • Style: Mono Blue seems to go along well with the forums, but the default would be okay too.
     (Defined in [c]data-hljs-style="github-gist"[/c] part in https://github.com/s9e/phpbb-ext-highli ... after.html )
   • I think this changes all code boxes, but it could be edited to handle specific ones.
2. Inline monospace code blocks
   • Not hard to implement: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/bbco ... ne_bbcode/
   • The style may need to be changed to match the style above.

and strikethrough text, everyone needs some good strikethrough text [s]text[/s]
Also say a [hide] tag where text is only revealed upon click of the hide tag, syntax [hide=displayed text]text to hide[/hide] where "displayed text" defaults to "Click to reveal hidden text"
