Oscillators that contain antioscilators in Day and Night.

Because of the way that the Day & Night cellular automaton works, that got me thinking if there are any oscillators in Day & Night with a constant region of cells that's big enough to fit an antioscilator inside, and what antioscillator/oscillators would fit in that region, so, yeah. A oscillator that contains an antioscillator, basically. If anyone finds any, post them here.
P.S. if you can go more than two layers with the oscillator, feel happy to.

Do you mean small oscillators inside bigger Oscs?
Blinker(in cgol) doesn’t work because there ism’t s2i and there’s an infinite amount of big oscillators.
You can post this to the D&N thread or

It’s ok

Yes. My bad. I'll fix that.
Also are you talking about cgol or D&N here?

Anyways, it's trivial:
Code: Select all
x = 13, y = 11, rule = B3678/S34678
bobobobobobo$13o$b11o$13o$b11o$7o2b4o$b5o2b4o$7ob5o$b11o$13o$bobobobo
bobo!
Just extend it a bit more to get another layer.

I'm talking about D&N>
Code: Select all
x = 11, y = 10, rule = B3678/S34678

Smaller,right?

These are pretty simple with low periods and completely extendable, so now I'm thinking A. How small can we go and B. What is the highest period oscillator that can hold an antioscillator?

A. Pretty easy to answer. Is still life also oscillators though?
B. A drifting signal travelling on the edge of the extensible thing, And a few reflector, to get arbitrary period. It will take a lot of effort though, and I'm no drifter experts.

No, still lifes aren't oscillators, since oscilators are structures that switch between multiple states. 1 isn't multiple.
