Ultra-complex logic gates [GAME]

Post by NoAyeBeardo »

Hi! In this thread, I will post a complex logic gate every Saturday. The answer will be revealed after a week.

The first person to answer correctly will get points depending on the number of signal inputs.

The table is as follows:
1 input: 20 points
2 inputs: 18 points
3 inputs: 16 points
4 inputs: 14 points
5 inputs: 12 points
6 inputs: 10 points
7 inputs: 8 points
8 inputs: 6 points
9 inputs: 4 points
10 inputs: 2 points

Every week, I will post the leaderboard

If you use someone else's answer, you will be disqualified.

I might introduce difficulties: Easy, Medium, Hard

For this week, here is the logic gate.

Code: Select all

Do I input as a sequence of bits, or an rle?

Here's an RLE.

Sorry EvinZL!

Anyways, I might add clocks (for signals) so I can use NAND, NOT, NOR and XNOR gates, which I have to use clocks for.

If I do add difficulty, there will be a difficulty multiplier. (2x for medium and 3x for hard)

There is a medium and easy difficulty.

At medium, you get twice as much points.

Also, the signals are inputted at the clocks at the front otherwise it wont count.

Good luck!

Moosey - the medium entry actually is incorrect, as you turned the clock for the NOR gate off. Here is it with the NOR gate fixed:

Code: Select all

x = 72, y = 66, rule = WireWorld

Sorry about that :!:

However the easy entry gives you 16 points (for 5 inputs, it is incremented in 4s)

PkmmQ, you made the same mistake as Moosey.

Here is medium with the NOR gate more obvious:

PkmmQ - I rate difficulty as minimum inputs. More inputs = harder, less inputs = easier.

You both get to resubmit as I didn't make it clear.

EDIT: I realized that I didn't start the clock  :!:
