Well, subluminal/diagonal spaceships OR high-period oscillators have not been found, but oh well. I still like this rule. Just like the roughly cgol-like rulespace will sometimes have Life in the name (we don’t talk about 3-4 life. plagiarism.), roughly just-friends rule space has friends in its name (yes, even the ones with c/4d instead of c/6d gliders). The non-explosive b2a rule will have Plow in it’s name (A reference to seeds). This one will be called CrossPlow, as its most useful component is the Cross. The spaceship will be the Halfmoon, as it is the moon but with half the frequency. Misc stuff:

Did someone ask for oscillators?

Edit 3:
New halfmoon loop and also a signal loop, unfortunately you must have the signal in a specific configuration, otherwise it’ll fail
Code: Select all
x = 30, y = 17, rule = B2-ek3q4e/S03i4-ay5ace6en

A much smaller halfmoon reflector, but note they are NOT interchangeable

We’re going to need an oscillator collection soon, more oscs:

Edit 7:
HOW DID I MISS THIS (Over-unity reaction, should allow for guns. Also it produces a really cool spaceship. I feel like we might be able to turn this into a 90 degree turn)
Code: Select all
x = 12, y = 12, rule = B2-ek3q4e/S03i4-ay5ace6en
10bo$9b3o$7bo2bo2$o$2bo$2bo$o2$7bo2bo$9b3o$10bo!
Edit 8:
We’re finally not stuck in the world of 1 dimension plus or minus 1 lane (because we have lane-shifters)!
Code: Select all
x = 22, y = 14, rule = B2-ek3q4e/S03i4-ay5ace6en
16bo$15b3o$10bo5b3o$9b3o5bo$7bo2bo8bo$18b3o$o18b3o$2bo17bo$2bo$o2$7bo
2bo$9b3o$10bo!
Now we need to figure out how to stop that pesky half-moon… We can’t use a new signal to catch up to it, because well, it moves at the speed of light.
Edit 9:
I’m thinking of this:
Code: Select all
x = 24, y = 13, rule = B2-ek3q4e/S03i4-ay5ace6en
22bo$21b3o$19bo2bo2$o$2bo$2bo$o2$5bo4bo8bo2bo$4b3o2b3o2bo6b3o$5bo4bo2b

Instead of crashing into the cross, the halfmoon would crash into something else that results in clean destruction.
