Now this is a rule that could go somewhere.
Here's a failed replicator it has:

x = 3, y = 2, rule = B34w/S236c
bo$3o!

And a serendipitous discovery:

x = 5, y = 4, rule = B34w/S236c

Which led to this 16c/70 puffer.

x = 12, y = 10, rule = B34w/S236c

Other than that, the rule has gliders and a p4 oscillator, which is found in other rules as well:
