So I made a methuselah called the grenade, and I'm wondering if it's possible to hassle it.
grenade:
Code: Select all
#CXRLE Pos=-3,-6
x = 4, y = 4, rule = B3/S23
3o$2obo$bobo$2bo!
also, what does it say 'bo' so much?

The bs and os are the nature of the
RLE format, speaking of which you don't need to include the #CXRLE line. I'm guessing the reason it's included is because you're saving these patterns as files rather than simply copying them to your clipboard (which you can do simply with the selection tool and ctrl+c).

This "grenade" evolves exactly like generation 3 of the R pentomino:
Code: Select all
x = 19, y = 5, rule = B3/S23
$b2o12b3o$2obo11b2obo$2obo12bobo$2bo14bo!
Depending on your definition of hassle, conduit tracks could be said to "hassle" these entities, and I'm pretty sure R-pentomino tracks exist.

The
B-52 bomber is a very simple R-pentomino hassler.
