These ARE certainly possible. The strange thing is that ALL of the known ones are c/2, not c

From A for Awesome

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 5, rule = B1e2c4t5k/S012-ik3

From Paul Tooke

Code: Select all

x = 20, y = 30, rule = B1e2-a/S13

Well, the c ones are just not as notable:

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 19, rule = B1e3a4a/S1e2i3i4at6c
5b2o$4b3o$5b2o2$5b2o$3b4o$5b2o2$5b2o$2b5o$5b2o2$5b2o$b6o$5b2o2$5b2o$7o
$5b2o!
And you can remove "B1c" from the title because it's impossible to make a pattern not explode in all four directions with B1c.
EDIT: Longer rule allows different connections too:

Code: Select all

x = 9, y = 19, rule = B1e3a4ar5nq6k/S1e2i3i4at5j6c
7b2o$b8o$7b2o$4b3o$7b2o$4b5o$7b2o$6bo$7b2o$3b6o$7b2o$7o$7b2o$6b3o$7b2o
$6bo$7b2o$4b5o$7b2o!

Shameless rule modification makes A for Awesome's c/2 ship into a c/3 and breaks the record for slowest ship in a B1e rule:

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 3, rule = B1e2c4t5k7c/S012acen34ai
obobo$o3bo$b3o!

B01 rules DO have spaceships, so B1c is possible as part of B01.

What renamed?

What renamed to "Spaceships in B1e rules (No B0)"?

B01 rules DO have spaceships, so B1c is possible as part of B01.
However, B01 rules also have fundamentally different behavior in general, so that analysis should be carried out separately.
