B2/S0 new glider

Post by Naszvadi »

Hi!

I discovered a new glider in rule B2/S0, which is:

.*..*
..*..
....*
...*.
*....
.**..

Is it known already? If yes, then when was it discovered?

That's cool. So why no credits are here? -> http://lfod.wikispaces.com/key+ship

The same question for this: http://lfod.wikispaces.com/robot+ship
Look at this (Alex Fink's discovery) -> http://fano.ics.uci.edu/ca/rules/b2s0/g3.html

Hi Nasvadi,

I'm the creator of the LFoD wiki, and I haven't credited any patterns there that I found myself. As it turns out, many of those patterns were well known long before I found and named them. I didn't know about David Eppstein's glider database in those days. Maybe I'll go through sometime and try to add some credit for the earliest known discovery.
