I'm not a prof in game of life, but i like to experiment with it). And, if someone isn't discovered this small pattern earlier than me, i know pattern, that releases one lwss, but i dont know how to show it you)

•How small is the pattern? Are we talking like less than 10 cells, or more? What is the minimum rectangle that fits around this pattern?
•If the pattern isn't too big, you can do something like this with asterisks and dots, and put it inside a code block, like so(this pattern is a
glider):
•
Here is a link to the Lightweight Spaceship, on a website that catalogues naturally-occuring patterns. Although the LWSS is very rare to occur by hand when drawing, it is quite common on catagolue (There are 983780964 patterns that make a LWSS catalogued so far, but only 16 are shown due to would-be lag issues)
•If you found it by hand, it is cool that you found such a pattern, however, typically for an object as common as a LWSS, it won't have any use in practical application. Which is fine, however LWSS are fairly common.
•If you're interested in rare objects naturally occuring, check out
apgsearch. It's a script that can run on your computer, to make a random starting configuration of cells, and run it and catalogue the results
here. You'd be surprised at the oscillators and spaceships that occur naturally, examples
here, here, and
here.

If # — live cells, O — dead, then:
OOOOO##O
OOOOO#O#
OOOOOO##
OO#OOOOO
OOOOOOOO
##OOOOOO
#O#OOOOO
O##OOOOO
It evolves into 1 LWSS (!!!), 2 gliders, 8 blinkers (include 1 traffic lights), 9 blocks, 4 beehives, 3 boats, 1 ship and 1 pond.

You mean like that?
Code: Select all
x = 8, y = 8, rule = B3/S23
5b2o$5bobo$6b2o$2bo2$2o$obo$b2o!
Interesting, although it could be simplified further:
Code: Select all
x = 8, y = 8, rule = B3/S23
5b2o$5bobo$6b2o2$o$obo$obo$2bo!

Do you use some sort of computer application? If so, which application do you use? You can often copy and paste directly from the app to the browser, however the code could be different for different applications.

Yes, that's what most people here use. If you hover your mouse cursor over the pattern, and select the entire region containing the pattern, you can use ctrl+c (or cmd+c) to copy, and ctrl+v (or cmd+v) for paste into a text editor, or whatever. If you encounter any further problems, send me a PM.
Note that the reverse is also possible, for example if you press the "select all" button on my previous blocks of code, copy it to your clipboard, and you should be able to paste it inside golly.
