is there a image to RLE converter?

I am looking for one, but I am unsucsessful. I need a piece of software that can take an image (preferably BMP) and turn it into an RLE string.
Golly can open a .bmp file. All non-white pixels will be treated as live cells. Then just select the result and copy it to the clipboard.
