Glider-block cycle

I've seen a strange pattern in
Achim Flammenkamp's list of natural oscillators.
Code: Select all
x = 10, y = 6, rule = B3/S23
b2o4b2o$obo4bobo$2bo4bo2$4b2o$4b2o!
Does anyone know, what it has to do with oscillators?

As far as I can remember, all the census work on that site was done (at least for the still and oscillator lists) in a toroidal universe, meaning that a pair of gliders could cycle between two blocks as shown below (requires Golly for the bounded universe):
Code: Select all
x = 20, y = 7, rule = B3/S23:T20,20
o4bo8bo4bo$o3bo10bo3bo$4b3o6b3o3$9b2o$9b2o!
At least I assume that's what happened, I could be wrong.

Thanks, that explains it.
