I had engeneered patterns, Then I stopped to use golly so long time.
And now. I'll start it again. But it doesn't work. When I pasting pattern.
It says "Could not create temporary file for clipboard data!", then "can't open file 'C:\Users\###\AppData\Roaming\Golly\golly_clipboard' (error 5: access canceled)".
So, Can somebody helps me?

Well, for whatever reason, Golly clears its clipboard upon closing.

That's true only on Linux (probably due to a wxWidgets bug or limitation). On Windows and Mac systems Golly doesn't clear the clipboard when it quits (just tested this with Golly 2.5).Well, for whatever reason, Golly clears its clipboard upon closing.
As for kiho's error messages, I'm not sure what's going wrong. Sounds like a permissions problem but I don't know much about Windows. A bit of googling suggests that "error 5" problems can be solved by logging in as an admin user.
