This would be considered a correct answer, as the waterbear is a self-supporting structure.

A: You can't - the Travelling T is fireproof. This explains why they survived the incident of 2013, while gliders became extinct.
See below - it cannot be ignited.

Resu wrote: July 16th, 2025, 3:05 pm A: In many life-like rules did the glider go extinct?
A: Out of the 256 Life-like rules with suitable natural resources to support gliders, they went extinct in 248 due to the ecosystem being set ablaze, and competition with the loafer, a new apex predator unintentionally released into the wild in February 2013, wiped out gliders in 4 more rules, for a total of 252 extinctions.
Since HighLife is hostile to loafers, gliders can be found there, but the replicators mean that gliders may not survive long.

However, numerous artificial gliders have been observed under laboratory conditions.

A: the largest pattern in life is the Y-R-O-C converter, which converts Y pentominoes to C pentominoes by first converting Y pentomino to a rock R, then turning it into an oscillator O, which when hassled turns into a C pentomino.
