Does anybody actually use LifeWiki:Task list? The last edit was in 2023.

Seems in Pedestrian Life, Herschel is always from B-heptomino, but B-heptomino is always from R-pentomino. Should we also write R-pentomino on it?

The B-heptomino, just as in life, doesn't have to come from an R-pentomino in Pedestrian Life. The R-pentomino just so happens to produce a B, but it is not the only way (same with the Herschel emerging from B-heptomino)

I have posted something on the talk page of P32 blinker hassler 2. Quoting it:
hotcrystal0 wrote:Uhh... Should this be moved to somewhere like P32 traffic light hassler as that is more accurate? Or kept for historical reasons? After all, P26 glider shuttle and P31 glider shuttle were moved to P26 dependent reflector loop and P31 dependent reflector loop.
So, should the page be moved?

c/4 orthogonal wrote:The first higher period c/4 orthogonal spaceship was discovered by David Bell in September 2000. It had a period of 20 and consisted of a block puffer found by Jason Summers and a side sparker used to delete the blocks. In the following month Summers found period 8 and 12 spaceships based off of a failed blinker puffer and a spaceship with a forward domino spark. Several other periods were achieved by perturbing the output of a period 168 puffer discovered by Paul Tooke in November 2003.
What spaceship is that?

The description in the 'c/4 orthogonal' LifeWiki article is not quite right.

I remember finding the c/4 period 20 block puffer by adding a block and perturbing spaceships to the back of a period 4 spaceship found by Jason Summers.

Jason Summers then found a sparking spaceship which can delete the blocks to make a period 20 spaceship.

Here is the description and spaceship from the 'ships-c4o-hp.lif' file in jslife.

Hello, I found an account that is spam and should be deleted - 'gbwhatapps'
They have these fake government job links to make it seem like they are legit, but when I hovered over the 'website' I found it was a download link. Could be malicious, should be removed. Also, they were only online for 1 minute before leaving, and that is the only time they have been online.

Should the p10 fountain have its own Wiki page? It's currently only in the Period-10 sparkers page.

Probably not yet, since it hasn't been used anywhere, and most sparkers on that page don't have pages either even if they are used.

Also this is the thread for those sorts of questions.

That should reduce a lot of patterns.
Should every pattern containing the p10 domino fountain in LifeWiki be fixed, or at least the article for it?
Also, it mentions Anivec's reduction, but the one in the infobox is by Mark Niemiec and it skips the reduction by James Pascua and doesn't reference the discovery of the long and narrow variant by wwei23.

Should we merge all of the unidimensional ships into one wiki article? After all, they're technically all just reductions of each other.

Doublepost, but it's been 2 months already.
If I see that a pattern in say, one of the hassler pages, and find a simple reduction for it, should I replace the original pattern with the new reduced version or keep the original for historical purposes?
