It's not. You need to hard refresh you browser to see the latest version.islptng wrote: March 13th, 2025, 6:27 pm Please update that. Also Why lazyslug.com is still using 1276?

Here's my take on this:islptng wrote: March 13th, 2025, 6:27 pm Suggestion:
Since we have multiple R2INT rules, why not make 2 slides to control speed, one step(default 1), one speed(default 60)? So that adjusting speed slide to a number below 60 won't display the middle generation. Add a command [[ R2INT ]] if you want, what it does is: Set the base step to 2, and identifying works slightly different.
An example trigger of this bug occurs when you Select All, Randomize, optionally play it for a little while and then press R (or any reset button) to reset the pattern. It will revert the pattern back to its former state before it was edited.b-engine wrote: March 12th, 2025, 9:48 pm Failed replicator factory:Probable gun puffer?Code: Select all

o3b3o$3o2bo$bo!The most likely issue that you are experiencing is that Build 1281 is the version you currently have cached on your browser. To access the build number, click on the Help button at the top right. If it is Build 1281, you can hard refresh your browser by pressing Ctrl+F5.
Interestingly enough old versions of LV did exactly that -- I can confirm build 307 (which is still live on the Marc Niemec Lifepage archive) has two sliders, one for step and one for speed.confocaloid wrote: March 13th, 2025, 6:39 pm ^^ That might (or might not, up to developers to decide) make sense to do both in LifeViewer and in Golly. Allow adjusting the base step and the delay independently from each other. So it would be possible to have base step 17 with delay 2 seconds, or to have base step 1 with delay 1/8 seconds, and so on.
Fixed in build 1283. Thanks for the report!hotcrystal0 wrote: March 13th, 2025, 6:57 pm What? Going back to generation 0 also reverts the pattern? Let this recording explain the bug:
Code: Select all
x = 7, y = 3, rule = B3/S23

Check that Settings>Playback>Use Saved is not selected. Or set the speed to 1x and click Settings>Playback>Save Speed.confocaloid wrote: March 14th, 2025, 6:59 pm In build 1284, when opening a viewer, the playback speed defaults to 1/s instead of 1x. I assume this is a unintentional consequence of a recent change, I initially thought that playback doesn't work at all.
I have to give this bug a dedicated name.
Try build 1298.b-engine wrote: March 24th, 2025, 5:50 pm This applies to every pop-up viewers, and some embedded viewers such as those in LifeWiki or Catagolue. The only known place unaffected by this bug is the conwaylife.com main page and lazyslug.com.

The bug still persist.
In order to fix any bug I need a repeatable set of steps that reproduces the problem, along with details of the device and browser. Without this information it's unlikely to get fixed.PiSpaceships wrote: March 27th, 2025, 4:19 pm Sometimes LifeViewer blocks so nothing can be did except zooming. It just happens randomly. I don't know how to reproduce the bug (it also happens to me).rowett wrote: March 27th, 2025, 6:48 pmIn order to fix any bug I need a repeatable set of steps that reproduces the problem, along with details of the device and browser.
