What would have been the consequences of exceeding the post quotas?

That user would be banned.

Hatsya is the hosting company.

I do agree, phpBB search is a bit crappy.
But there is nothing we can do about it (at least not what I know).

1. This has been an inactive thread for quite some time now. [oops my bad not really]
2. I do not have the time to look thru over 200 threads and over 500 posts.
3. Fact is, I do not know where to post this question, so I will post it here [and be amazed if a speedy answer comes].

I am perfectly happy with my username otismo.
I really do not want more than one account.
I cannot "edit" [or change] my account username [and can understand why - no explanation necessary].
I was inspired by a new member who had a full URL [with "http://www.and.everything"] for a username.
So since a username change may be a hassle, and semi-permanent [not every time the wind changes]
AND may be "by request only [but only if I ask nice]"
I suppose the real question is

Do I really want to change my username [I am leaning towards Probably Not, but thot i wud ask anyway].

I do have that Conway.Life, you know . . .

[sezme.st also etc.]

Thank You !

Here's your speedy answer, this is in the context of the user https://www.muye.dev:

It would be really nice not to have to deal with a username that's basically advertising -- an unrelated URL. Personally I'm probably not ever going to encourage the use of a username like that by giving it a trusted flag.

I do not think that changing my username to ☆☆☆Conway.Life☆☆☆ would be advertising.
People can [and do] have more than one account though, RIGHT?
Also not LifeWiki or trust-related [or is it].

Cheers !

What determines whether or not an edit appears at the bottom of a post (as in “Last edited by [username] on [date], edited [n] times in total.”)?

Whether your post is the last in a thread.

Does anyone even use the "add friend/foe" options? I don't, but I just wanted to know.

Why is “Thread for your advanced questions” under the General Discussion subforum and not under Help/Support like “Thread for your basic questions”?

Why am I suddenly no longer able to delete my posts? The delete button just vanished.
Edit: This doesn't happen for this post, for some reason.
Edit 2: It happens in all the forums except for the ones in the "conwaylife.com" section.

You can only delete a post if it is the last post in the thread. If someone adds another post afterwards, you won't be able to delete yours anymore.

We should add ConwayLife integration to Anything Forums so that we could add accounts from ConwayLife into Anything Forums and revive the ARED thread in Anything Forums.
