The Keyboard Smashing of the Minute has certainly not been around that long; if I remember correctly, last minute was the 98728394052943857th one, organised and its results announced by yours truly.

We followed the same voting system as with the OCA DOTY, which I think worked very well and showed a fairly accurate representation of the general keyboard. That is the one key, two keys, three keys voting system (where you can vote for as many candidates aehfidsaunvliuefydxuivliuhfleld as you want).

It is probably good to favour asdf-smashing, jkl;-smashing or other conceptual ideas (such as the winner from last minute) and projects that require fixing the keyboard. The candidates should either be random enough in their own right for any reason (examples from Random Posts including what is sesame oil) or have the potential to make asdfasdfasdf in some way in the future (such as Hubi1857).

Rules are allowed as candidates. However, please don't mindlessly nominate rules unless they have been VERY prolific and their dynamics have been explored in depth. A good example is Snowflakes, which was part of the competition last year*.

Challenge: sort the list (2,3,1,0) using worstsort where f(n) = TREE(n)

Note, for those who don't know what Worstsort is:

Worstsort, given a function f and a list, is defined as badsort(list,f(length(list))).

badsort is a terrible sorting algorithm where badsort(list,n) is basically n "levels" of recursion of sorting. First it finds all the permutations of the list, then sorts them lexicographically (so, it would take (1,2,3) and make ((1,2,3)(1,3,2)(2,1,3)(2,3,1)(3,1,2)(3,2,1))) using... badsort, but with n-1 instead of n. (The base sort when you reach n=0 is bubblesort I think but it really could be any sort). Then it chooses the first element (which is ofc the sorted one), and returns it. So basically it's an abysmally poor sorting algorithm already. worstsort is just badsort but with a fun fast-growing function of the length of the list instead of a constant n, so that it starts with extreme recursion.

I made a sort I call “How do I merge” sort.
