Rhombic has 7 letters.
7 is prime.
Prime has 5 letters.
There are infinitely many primes.
Infinitely has 10 letters.
5+10=15
Rhombic is 19 years old.
19-15=4
7-4=3
The third planet from the Sun is the Earth.
Earth has 5 letters.
Prime has also 5 letters.
5/5=1
Illuminati has three sides and one eye.

DOUBLE POST but whatever.
I have devised a simple program that has calculated all numbers that are divisible by 11 and also divisible by 11 when reversed and are not palindromes from 0 to 1000. Here they are:

110, 132, 143, 154, 165, 176, 187, 198, 209, 220, 231, 253, 264, 275, 286, 297, 308, 319, 330, 341, 352, 374, 385, 396, 407, 418, 429, 440, 451, 462, 473, 495, 506, 517, 528, 539, 550, 561, 572, 583, 594, 605, 627, 638, 649, 660, 671, 682, 693, 704, 715, 726, 748, 759, 770, 781, 792, 803, 814, 825, 836, 847, 869, 880, 891, 902, 913, 924, 935, 946, 957, 968, 990.

And here are all the numbers which can be divided by 17 and every 3 number (Starting from the first; 12345 becomes 14, 4637232 becomes 472, etc.) can also be divided by 17:

1037, 1207, 1377, 1547, 1717, 1887, 3094, 3264, 3434, 3604, 3774, 3944, 5151, 5321, 5491, 5661, 5831, 6018, 6188, 6358, 6528, 6698, 6868, 8075, 8245, 8415, 8585, 8755, 8925.

So, basically, the set of all n*11 where n is a one or two digit integer whose digits sum to less than 10, and is not itself a multiple of 11.

Wat.
I kinda get it. Probably.
Let's see...
n = 23
2+3 = 5
23*11 = 253
And indeed, 253 is on the list.
Is this sort of thing possible for anything like the second one or say, "all multiples of 9 that which every 5th digit can be reversed and be divided by 9"?

So what you're saying is that every 5th digit adds up to a multiple of 9 in a multiple of 9. (This is a trivial result for multiples of 9, via the "digits in a multiple of 9 add up to a multiple of 9" theorem. Choose something harder next time)

IOS GOLLY does not support non-totalistic rules.

Code: Select all

This is a two state, isotropic, non-totalistic rule on the Moore neighbourhood.
The notation used to define the rule was originally proposed by Alan Hensel.

According to this graph, a portion significantly larger than 1/37 of palindromic numbers are divisible by 37. This is probably because anything divisible by 111 is also divisible by 37. Surprisingly for me, though, it even happens when the numbers are 15 digits.

I just find that interesting. It makes 37's surprising but inevitable property of being a factor of a really small repunit actually seem to matter.
