What you're looking for is the on-wiki version, which is in the RLE namespace:

To find where the pattern data is hiding, edit the article in question and look for the "pname" parameter, which in this case is "p36gun". LifeViewer looks for pattern text in an RLE:{pname} article.

However, someone will have to manually delete and replace the gun pattern once you've made the change to RLE:P36gun. The LifeWiki is very conservative by nature. If you add a new RLE:{pname} article that was never uploaded to https://www.conwaylife.com/patterns/ before, then the next run of the auto-upload script will eventually notice it and add it to the LifeWiki patterns collection.

The script currently does not look for differences between already-uploaded patterns and the RLE namespace versions -- it just assumes that if there's something wrong, the change will get propagated over manually. This kind of thing happens rarely enough that that's a fairly reasonable assumption.

Thanks! I just patched up the on-wiki version of the pattern files (RLE and .cells), so they should look right after a hard refresh now.
