well, it is a based on "still-life factory" kazyan found, I thought that would be a good catalyst too, but I just mentioned it without trying myself manually, I had a few successes in trying to intercept runaway gliders into novel conduit partials (another time with that bandersnatch for an alternate B->H), so I guess that could be considered more often, maybe a snark could fit somewhere and remove a left over block as a runaway glider process (instead of using an eater). Well, just increasing the search space for unlikely conduit possibilities might be counter-productive, but maybe this partial can become an h-to-h somehow.

This might be useful for a conduit if at least the leftmore of the butterfly's beehives can be suppressed.

Do you have some kind of aversion to saying "eater"? (Personally, I use "fishhook" if and only if it functions but cannot eat.)

Wait, let me guess, is it too general? Because we have wing (methuselah), wing (spaceship), wings (spaceship), wing (Cordership) and flying wing (growing spaceship).
Each day is a hidden opportunity, a frozen waterfall that's waiting to be realised, and one that I'll probably be ignoring

Yes, I don't like using eater because it can also refer to other objects.
