Re: Random posts
Suppose I have a number line, and I map it to a lot of ordinals:
Note: this is a joke, I know there are way too many problems with this.
f(0)=0
f(1)=w
f(2)=Ω
f(n)=w_f((n-1)), n ∈ (natural numbers >2)
where do I put the fefermann-schutte ordinal? Somewhere on [1,2], and probably real close to 1. Maybe around 1.03.
Actually, w/o joking, it would probably go on the point 1. I don’t see how you could sensibly put it anywhere else.

Does anyone know of an ordinal n such that n> w^n?
I’m not sure whether the solutions to n= w^((w^n)c) for c >1 count (they’re like branching epsilon numbers)
I know however, that ρ_(0,2) counts where ρ_(n,m) = the n(+1)th solution c to c= (w^c)m since w^ρ_(0,2) < (w^ρ_(0,2))2= ρ_(0,2)
I’m not sure how big ρ_(0,2) is, but:
ρ_(0,2)>w^ρ_(0,2)>Ξ>(e_0)^w
intuitively, p(0,2) (I know it’s actually rho, the Greek letter r, but it resembles p more)=
whereas w^p(0,2) is
Btw:
Orditree#1 was a function I defined based on similar things as Ord(n).
Orditree#1(n) is defined as follows:
Orditree#1(n)=
Using (a,b)= (w^a)+b
Note that
Orditree#1(n)>w^^(n-1) for all n >2
I took the limit here and estimated that, as n->w, Orditree#1(n) -> (something < Ξ+w^Ξ)
Where Ξ= the first (I think) n such that n= w^((w^n)2)
So that’s how I found Ξ.

the rep briefly gets locked into place by blocks around gen 34K but is freed shortly after.
It later (~ gen 35K) is locked into place for at least 1000 gens.
It seems like it basically just keeps pushing out forever, but if somebody else wants to run it for an extremely long time...
