Sierpenski (somewhat) spacefiller; creates a very apparent sierpenski triangle out of replicators, and leaves debris behind which eventually creates common puffers that leave blinkers across space

Code: Select all

x = 26, y = 31, rule = MVS
6.2A$5.4A$6.2A$3.A$3.A$3.A15.2A$18.4A$19.2A$23.A$23.A$23.A3$.3A5$23.3A
11$2C$2C!
Also a meh M-block puffer

x = 44, y = 43, rule = MVS

Also, is there a search tool for low-period or small spaceships? If so, can someone run a search for small spaceships?
There's plenty of varieties of large spaceships, but very few small spaceships which might be easy to construct a gun for
Also, if someone has a gun search program, maybe that too
:D

Code: Select all

x = 72, y = 54, rule = 15/25/3H

I think CAViewer supports custom multistate rules.

I don't think there's any general gun search program. Maybe someone could make some kind of program specific to this rule that spams the common replicator in certain places and tries finding interesting results.
I could've chose a better username, but oh well.

I think I've learned the ropes of cellular automata. My current interest is range-two LTLs.

That would be interesting

Edit: weird reaction between reps

Code: Select all

x = 132, y = 66, rule = MVS
24$19.3A$19.3A5$100.3A$100.3A!
also a replicator thing that was attached to a puffer naturally (pushalong; also it slows the puffer production?)

Code: Select all

x = 125, y = 21, rule = MVS
122.3A$122.3A7$53.3A$53.3A10$3A106.3A$3A106.3A!
and a natural occurrence of the "uno reverse" oscillator (can we name it that?)

Code: Select all

x = 112, y = 9, rule = MVS
109.3A$109.3A6$3A$3A!
more cool replicator reactions (where do we put all these?)

Code: Select all

x = 165, y = 13, rule = MVS
3A$3A10$162.3A$162.3A!
oscillator city (the people here are very weird)

Code: Select all

x = 142, y = 8, rule = MVS
3A$3A5$139.3A$139.3A!
puffer

Code: Select all

x = 81, y = 13, rule = MVS
3A$3A10$78.3A$78.3A!
:D

Code: Select all

x = 72, y = 54, rule = 15/25/3H
14$45.ABA$45.A2B$44.3A$43.AB2A$44.A2$46.A14$26.ABA$26.A2B$25.3A$24.AB

It's probably not notable enough for a mainspace page, but there are basically no restrictions on userpages, so you could write a userpage on it :mrgreen:
