My understanding is that seminatural high-period oscillators are rare in Life-like cellular automata, and this one is a statorless prime-period oscillator.

Yeah, looking at it with a bit to think about it, removing all the deletions would be best. I have fixed the list, also I have made most of the mergers in Naszvadi's post, but for guns in Lifelike rules, and ships in Lifelike rules they maybe should be split, should I?
Here is my updated version:
toroidalet was the author of 31, and 32 was not this year, so take that out. 14 is by Yoel, and 16 is by FWKnightship as pointed out by confocaloid.
This is just an idea to try to simplify the nominations, If anyone does not like a specific merger please speak up, and can change it, also this is 100% my opinion
I would be extra biased, in merging my posts into this, so I have not done it
Here are the mergers
1-3 under. Omniperiodicity in Lifelike rules
4-8 under. Guns in Lifelike rules
9-12,OT unit stripes Layz Boi. under Turing completeness in Lifelike rules, and in just friends
13-16. under Metacells in engineered rules
18-20. under oscillators in Lifelike rules
21-22. under spaceships in Lifelike rules
26-27. under new ships in hexagonal rules
Here is what is left separate
17,23-25,28-31,33-38
oblique giraffeship in Glimmering Garden by GUYTU6J
Some spaceships in Harvest Moon by FWKnightship
B35e/S2-i36c by AlbertArmStain
Hash2 by b-engine
Factorio by H. H. P. M. P. Cole
Pyramid by NimbleRogue
Hexogen by Yoel Matveyev
*My Nominations
This version would have 40 separate candidates

The OCA DOTY 2023 is being organized by Cyclotrons.
H._H._P._M._P._Cole Has compiled a set of nominations here:
https://conwaylife.com/wiki/User:H._H._ ... ominations
I would have further refined the nominations, but I got no response to my previous post. I will include the 5 changes that I am sure about, and none of the changes I am not sure about. This would leave 46 nominations in total which feels like a lot, but it might be fine.
Should I copy the nominations to your version and work on the wording so it is more clear what each nomination means?

I would remove 49.
I would not merge 10 and 41 as they are in different rules.
I would merge 24 and 31 under a single category, for lack of a better name I would suggest
I would merge 44 and 46 under 'Spiralmakers in Flow6 and A Wire-Like World'.
I don't think I should merge 12 and 21, as the constructions in B2i34cj6a7c8/S2-i3-a4ceit6in seem to be based on slow spaceships, while the giraffeship in Glimmering Garden is made out of p240 oscillators.
I will make these changes to my page, and if someone is unsatisfied with these I will revert whatever is unsatisfactory.

We need to set up a nominee table at the start of DOTY 2024 voting.
The format used by Carson_Cheng/Sokwe works great
https://conwaylife.com/wiki/User:Carson ... inee_Table
Even though I prefer the format of Number, Name (with link), Authors, Description H. H. P. M. P. Cole's page could have worked great if a link to it was put in the topic post
I realized that the way that H. H. P. M. P. Cole and Sokwe set up their tables was completely different, and I just decided to format the nominations like they would be on the forums. In hindsight I realize that was probably the wrong decision, as there are a lot of editing that needs to be done.
Anyways, I reformatted everything on H. H. P. M. P. Cole's page. A lot of the nominations need major work on their descriptions. Unless some other people are willing to help me work on these then I would vote to just get rid of the descriptions even though they are helpful, and add a little more info to the titles. I know not having descriptions would be less then ideal, but I am worried that if there is not enough movement to work on these they will not get done until next year.

- #11The highest known period of nonadjustable INT ship: This ship is over 17 times the period of the highest known period of nonadjustable INT ship which is dani's already crazy 6803c/403,840 diagonal spaceship, with a period of 729c/7,229,407o. Furthermore, the Rulespace has many high-period ships with some having periods over 100,000. (by NimbleRogue)
- #12 A wandering spaceship: This is a moving object that looks like a spaceship, except that it never gets destroyed even if one is allowed to arbitrarily choose one of two rulesets before every tick, and continues to move while changing its trajectory depending on the sequence of "ruleswitches". (by confocaloid)
- #13 A rule: The rule has a c/3o, c/21o, 2c/44d, c/24d, 2c/50d, and a 7c/347d, without having any of S0123. (by snowman)
- #14 A rule with 25 orthogonal velocities: This is the record for most non-period adjustable ship speeds in a rule. Also, all the ships are relatively skinny and most are very long, and I find they have a different charm, than most other ships from search programs. (by May13)

- #20Similar constructions in B3-ckq5y/S2-ci3-aek4ci5c and B35e/S2-i36c: Both rules contain self-repairing OMOSes made from small ships Those OMOS can be used to make adjustable SMOSes. (by GUYTU6J, and AlbertArmStain)

- #24A failed loop replicator in INT: This reploop grows in a sporadic way while keeping the internal reploop structure for a long time. It forms a left aligned staircase of length 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 before breaking (by NimbleRogue)
- #25 Self-inverse rules: These rules are able to maintain a rectangular tiling symmetry in spite of chaos. (by muzik)

- #27a methuselah with a lifespan around 10^28,049,842: It is a failed Fibonacci counter, and it counts to the 134,217,726th Fibonacci number before breaking. (by toroidalet)

- #38 The slowest 1-cell ship with a period over 10^^(10^^27) and uses 3 states: The patterns involves 2 binary counters with the first counting down 27 times, (each countdown exponentially increasing the binary counters length) and then sends a signal to the second counter which begins to retract it. This cycle repeats with each 27 cycles of the first counter counting the second counter down by 1(by toroidalet)
- #39 SoManyShips2: a 3-state rule with 2 failed replicator oscillators (one OMOS), a 4c/9 replicator, and over fifty small ships and several families of extensible ones. (by FWKnightship)
- #40 A 3-state rule with a SMOSMOSMOSMOS: This beats the previous record level of SMOS iteration by 2. Also, the SMOSMOSMOSMOS has a generation where you can see each of the smaller ships it is composed by, not just the SMOSMOSMOS. (by FWKnightship)

- #42 A new largest FIGseed: with a FIG value of over 379 million. The FIG value of a soup is calculated as FinalPop/InitialPop/Generations. The pattern is also really cool, it keeps on trying to form a square, but any remanent chaos on the square will lead to it growing further(by bibunsekibun)
