Hmmm. Could we chain four partials together in a loop, maybe?
I wrote a stdin script that generates random soups of a provided number of a given spaceship. It works for all (non-B0) spaceships in the INT rulespace!

A p41 glider loop has been found, making CGOL omniperiodic!
As time goes by, we are discovering more and more every year.

I've added a note to the top of the thread announcing that the project is complete and directing people to post further discussion in the oscillator discussion thread. I will leave this thread unlocked for now, but I will lock it if it becomes the subject of too much unjustified necroposting.
