I can't imagine how that would work-the gravity seems like it would have to be uneven, causing the air to clump up...

As far as I understand the Refugium is just a sunlit area of an infinite world, so the air would be evenly distributed. The sun and moons are inherently magical anyway. Don't try to justify how something like this would ever exist. I'm not saying we have to do something exactly like this, but a non-planet world would be interesting.

I stopped to watch after I saw that I understand almost nothing and seeing that the video is long but I understood what you said here.
I personally prefer this to be on a planet.

What part did you not understand? I think the video is pretty straightforward. There is even a fandom page about it, if you think the video is too long (which I honestly don't think it is).

I saw the fandom page before a few days but it is not explaining much,so far they just described the islands in the west called something like Nulogqwa.
How many civilisations we should have?
Indus Valley Civilisation is probably independent of others but I was not sure the previous time for some reason.

I think we should first create communities of people, and then see what happens. They might assimilate, grow, shrink, and change before they become full-fledged civilizations. Also, it's spelled Nhlogqwa and pronounced /n.'ɬɔɢ.wa/.

I might have found some stuff. If it's browser based then you can probably use it too. One idea: Instead of a planet we can have an infinite (or very large) area, and there will be a sun (very bright light source) that moves around in a circle over the land causing a day/night cycle. What do you think?

Mostly just pack ice near the ocean and barren wasteland. There are rumors of "vast, ineffable "things"" lurking there, but no one to go there has ever survived to tell the tale. People say that if the inhabitants discover electricity, they should explore there.

We didn't even figure that out on the alien biosphere thread. I you want this to be totally scientifically accurate, then you have to have life, evolve it and somehow end up with humans (unless you think they don't necessarily have to be humans).

Yes, they have to be humans.
If the sun is not infinite or magical in a way that allows the light to be distributed evenly everywhere then I guess that there should be some light everywhere, but more if closer to the sun and less if farther. How the light/dark border looks in the Biblaridion's refugium?
Also,are the western regions deserts?

Quoting the fandom page:
The Refugium can be divided into three regions based on their proximity to the Sun. The closer one gets to the Sun, the warmer and wetter the environment becomes. Due to the stationary Sun, the climate is highly stable and experiences no seasonal variation.

The Central Regions extend up to 1000 km from the center, and experience the equivalent of constant noontime sunlight. The average temperature hovers around 30-40 degrees C.

The Umbral Regions comprise the land between 1000km to 4500km from the center, and they the only regions within the world to experience a day-night cycle. The majority of human civilizations are located within these regions.

The Far Regions comprise the remaining land, an area 4500km to 6000km from the sun. Experiencing the equivalent of perpetual evening, the Far Regions are frigid, dry, and barren. The only human territory situated entirely in the far regions is Nhlogqwa.
I don't remember talking about any western regions.

Other than realisticness I guess you can say stuff like it's more consistent and you can have the inhabitants explore without running into weirdness. Like what would the people of The Refugium find if they decided to investigate their sun? But having humans makes weirdness too evolutionarily. If they discovered evolution where would they have come from?

Screen fades from blackness

We see an accretion disk around a dark center.

Camera pans in towards the center of the accretion disk

We see not a black hole, but instead a protostar. Still accreting matter from its accretion disk, it has not started fusing H-1 with H-1 yet, but is able to fuse H-2 with H-1, to create He-3.

Camera pans in towards a grain of dust

This grain of dust, is where our story begins. This grain of dust will grow and grow, and at the end of it all, will become a new planet, around a new star.

Nice.

Well this is how all rocky planets form AFAIK. I think that the creation of this planet is mostly irrelevant to what we want to do with it. I mean asking a question like "Why is this planet as heavy as Earth and not heavier?" is either meaningless or very hard to answer at best. What do you think about having humans or not?

Now, I'm not sure, but I think gas planets would likely form first, due to my intuition saying that larger planets take longer to form, and would require a head start. So another dust grain becomes the seed for another planet. It's probably best to label out some kind of disk and mark out the position of the first dust grain.
