Osaka Chooses Googly-Eyed Logo for Expo 2025 and It’s an Obvious Choice

2025 Japan International Exposition logo mark
The Japan International Exposition Association (2025) held the final selection committee to select the logo of the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka and Kansai Expo) today.
The theme of Osaka's Kansai Expo, "the design of the future bright future society" aims at the realization of the world in which one person can think about the way that he desires, and to realize the society that can be able to maximize each possibility and the sustainable society that supports such a way of life. It is the logo mark chosen this time as the symbol of the Osaka Kansai Expo. In the future, we will use this work as an official logo mark for the development of the Osaka Kansai Expo and the development of further work.
This work was selected from 5894 works applied between November 29, 2019 and December 15 (sun).
The association has released five final candidate works selected on August 3, 2020 through each selection process. And, 6572 opinions were received for the opinion recruitment to the final candidate work carried out from August 3 to 11 (fire). In the final selection committee of today, I selected the best work by referring to the opinion of each final candidate work from everyone.
