Happy national bubble tea day if you’re in America.

I’m glad we have some taro powder at my house.

Alarming how konjac is related to the carrion flower (both are in the genus amorphophallus)

Unfortunately, since I live in a middle-of-nowhere-ish city, tapioca pearls, let alone konjac jelly, are hard to come by.
In the end we had to order the former online.

I had some konjac jelly once in France though.
It was an authentic bubble tea place; they even had the machine that would cover the cup in plastic.

Meanwhile, In small-town rural Minnesota, we have about 2 stores to get our food from.

I suppose I could be in a worse place than coastal Georgia

Though the public schools here seem to be rather... meh. At least so far.

Because of the invention of 0E0P metacell, Life is actually exploding at very large soup size, therotically. Because, when the soup size get enough, a 0E0P metacell simulating an exploding rule might be spawn, therefore creating an explosion.

To call a rule exploding, I don't think it's enough for some soups to grow quadratically. The hallmark of an explosive rule is that almost every soup grows quadratically.

Not grow quadratically, but chaotically.

For example, B2a grows chaotically but not quadratically (I think)

It’s so despessing how the universe is being observed to be even more of a cruel joke.
For instance, because the particle horizon is outside of the cosmic event horizon, there are things we can see which we can never interact with. (Unless, ahem, faster than light travel is possible).

Wouldn’t it be depressing if we observe aliens just beyond the cosmic event horizon (I mean, they would be pretty old by now, maybe gone, but...)

I’m fooling around with functions of the form x^f(x) where f(x)<=1 for all x (or at least all x > 0), because on the interval [0,infinity] they are always <= y=x.
Most interesting ones so far include
x^(sin(ln(x))
and, taking advantage of the properties of such functions,
x^((x^(sin(ln(x))))/x)
In fact, for any function, g(x), of this type, x^((g(x))/x) retains the properties making it that type of function.

Anyways, this thing can be expanded:

x^f(x) <= 1 for all x on [a,b] when f(x) <= 0 for all x on [a,b]
x^f(x) <= x for all x on [a,b] when f(x) <= 1 for all x on [a,b]
x^f(x) <= x^2 for all x on [a,b] when f(x) <=2 for all x on [a,b]

In general, x^f(x) <= x^n for all x on [a,b] when f(x) <= n for all x on [a,b]

Knew it.
But I’m pretty sure that’s just a consequence of the solution, and unintentional.
