I think we haven't mentioned ts letters yet. If we did or if they appear during letter creation, they simply fuse into c letter.Schiaparelliorbust wrote: October 21st, 2020, 7:07 am If c is /ts/, then what will the letter combination ts be? I say c should be /t̠ʃ/, that gets rid of the problem that c can be /k/ or /s/, like in English. I don't think there should be /ɑ/.
The letter combination can be nothing, as in blatantstacking.Schiaparelliorbust wrote: October 21st, 2020, 7:07 am If c is /ts/, then what will the letter combination ts be? There is certainly a very obvious difference between the two (at least for me).BokaBB wrote: October 21st, 2020, 7:09 amI think we haven't mentioned ts letters yet. I don't distinguish /a/ and /ɐ/ much.

Yes. Let's please stay on track, I promise we'll get to those later.
Please first decide how would we pronounce the letters before creating letters.BokaBB wrote: October 21st, 2020, 7:47 am It's too early for stories, but not for words!
Rigeu - day
-eu - a period of time or a moment specific to something
Also,Zem will be the Moon from now and not night (night is Zimeu).

Thanks for asking! In one of my favorite books, The Martian, Mark Watney has to go to Schiaparelli Crater from Acidalia Planitia, and at the end of the chapter where he he starts going, he says Schiaparelli or bust!Hunting wrote: October 21st, 2020, 8:03 amYeah. Aha! I'm a fan of The Martian too (but I read the Chinese version - see the quoted version above of your message.)Schiaparelliorbust wrote: October 21st, 2020, 8:09 amThanks for asking! I agree with you on a being /ɐ/, but BokaBB says it should be /a/.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but can you access Wikipedia? I use these for IPA, I just copy and paste the symbols:Hunting wrote: October 21st, 2020, 8:17 am Ok - A is /ɐ/ (Let's use X-SAMPA for IPA symbols please, it's hard to type).
Yes I copy them from WP too, but it's inconvenient. Be sensible and use X-SAMPA.Schiaparelliorbust wrote: October 21st, 2020, 8:22 amSorry if this is a stupid question but can you access Wikipedia?
