List of common evolutionary sequences mentions "one of the less familiar fours" (probably the land of lakes) as being more common than the switch engine in census.rle, but does not mention the number of occurrences, ranking, or even which less familiar four it is.
I looked through all census.rle patterns with between 10467 and 687 occurrences, but I was unable to find anything fitting the description.
Does anyone know what it is, or if it exists at all?

I wrote that myself, but I admit the wording is confusing. "one of the less familiar fours, four blocks in a rectangle (1615)" is one entry, not two.

It was posted on Discord. If it was cross-posted, I haven't found who did it or where, yet. There are a lot of hasslers on the wiki which lack proper citations (the reason that the reference to a p10 fleet hassler was removed from the wiki was improper citations). Currently working to improve Life's guns and work on updating SKOPs and Isotropic rules most similar to B3/S23 to Life standards. Will get software to begin searches eventually.

The Star Trek article heavily lacks information and references. It includes various spaceships in the rule, but that's it. The spaceships all came from the GliderDB database, and only a few of them have discovery information, so I'm guessing the rule is pretty old and some early researchers ran some ship searches. Is it possible to find out who discovered those ships and when?
The article also needs more patterns other than just the spaceships.

Can somebody make a script which can identify a pattern's outer-totalistic rulespace in which it evolves in the same way as in the given rule for a set number of generations? (Preferably Golly-compatible.) I'm trying to track down the sources of the various uncited spaceships in the Star Trek article. I suspect they all came from gliderDB, meaning somebody likely posted it in the Spaceships in Life-like Cellular Automata thread. And since each entry includes the outer-totalistic rulespace of the spaceship (usually), I can use that to try and find the original post containing it.
