Finally I can access internet from my laptop.
Here are recent results concerning the project.
I am not going to translate them to lifehistory ... not to lose some colors so here is my ruleset:
I hope somebody adds it to the standard place so lifeviewer would work with it... anyways the files are so big that I have to use most of them as attachments ...
Code: Select all
@RULE LifeHistory14
(2 alternatives) ... (for 3 alternatives 24 will be needed)
A variant of HistoricalLife with two extra ON states
and three extra OFF states, for annotation purposes for stable circuits:
state 0: OFF
state 1: ON
state 2: boundary OFF
state 3: boundary ON
state 4: mark1 OFF (signals)
state 5: mark1 ON (signals)
state 6: mark2 OFF (circuit semi)
state 7: mark2 ON (circuit semi)
state 8: mark3 OFF (circuit all alternatives ON)
state 9: mark3 ON (circuit all alternatives ON)
state 10: mark4 OFF (circuit all alternatives except 1st are ON)
state 11: mark4 ON (circuit all alternatives except 1st are ON)
state 12: mark5 OFF (circuit all alternatives except 2nd are ON)
state 13: mark5 ON (circuit all alternatices except 2nd are ON)
even state 14-254: history OFF youngest is 14

1st attachment are the gliders from the original RCT15 required to build the FSE reflector (not my result, but usefull).
2nd attachment is jump FSE, you can see DBCA gliders as well and ECCA p256 actiavtions.
3rd attachment is what happens after the n-gliders absorbers counts down to 0.
Here is the program I am using to find as efficient DBCA destroyal. Seems destroying one yellow glider (while the ECCA arm block is positioned to destroy block in the scorbie splitter) is more efficient then destroying the boat. (If it will be present)
(Seems outputs with _*_20_9_1_9 are reasonable good compared to other tried parameters for {glider_lines}_{last_lane_lines}_{pop_fact}_{min_u_fact})
Next task is to modify (honeyfarm blocking output to n-gliders absorbers should be destroyed) and agnosticize the line program of the original RCT15 cleaning till the FSE reflector is created.
Than after seed of destruction to ECCA would be prepared the pslmake with target block corresponding to the end of reflectors program would create SW part of switching circuitry and the ECCA as well.
I have also extracted the corderabsorbers from the original RCT15 and I have to finish pslmake target for FSE (including the reflectors and their seed of destruction).
After pslmake on FSE and exended agnosticize (no tash extension) we should translate the program for the DBCA. (There will be several optimal versions depending on the starting inner state of the DBCA, but the number of gliders of the white color would not differ too much. We can choose easier n-gliders absorber and change the line program to force given number of gliders of white color.)
This will compete NE switching circuitry and we would be able to compute the line program for the NE switching circuitry (including the bumpers) ... starting from the blinker ... this portion will be inserted after the ECCA program.
After these line programs will be translated to the DBCA program, the inner state will be known so the corresponding version for the FSE could be used.
what about changing the reflectors destroyal such that they emit a glider NE (rather to one time turner to create LWSS using splitter) ... and we just leave the arm block at its path?
Is my proposal to dostroy the reflectors considered OK or are there counterproposals?
0) seed of ECCA destroyal (p256 startup could be seen in attachments) and independently deciding final ECCA reflectors and DBCA arm block destroyal to start pslmake for FSE program.
2) agnosticise, DBCA programs for FSE, ... determine optimal n for n-gliders absorbers
Independently I prepare the phases pre 4) 3) and 1) programs (FSE reflector and cleanup), the DBCA destroyal and semilate scripts.
This will move us to the phase we have working ECCA, which will disapear after the final pattern is created and here is no DBCA.
We have corder absorbers on FSE.
So ECCA should start corderships SE, SW, NW, build corderabsorbers in FSW, destroy starting nonperiodic trash FSW,
build corderabsorbers in FNW with last one issuing standardised glider back to the origin. (To do so we will recycle one time reflector usage from the original RCT15 using it to move target block far FNW). Most of the line progams from the original RCT15 could be recycled here.
It seems to me good method is to create target FNW ECCA arm block, but not destroying the near ECCA arm block.
After it there is clean space near the origin except the ECCA (which will vanish).
The seed for the final patern should be build (varaible to the RCT15) ... to be ignited by standard glider comming from FNW.
And after this variable part is done, the near arm block is destroyed and the corder absorbers FNW issuing the standard glider back should be created, what finishes the bit program.
