B368/S25

Post by muzik »

Similarly to b2ce3ai/s23, this rule allows for some pretty ridiculous oscillators:

Code: Select all

x = 223, y = 5, rule = B368/S25
223o$223o2$223o$223o!
Parity Replicator Collection v1.6 is now live - please send all relevant discoveries here.

I noticed Morley was only missing one transition from having these, so here:

Code: Select all

@RULE B368_S24-q5

*** File autogenerated by saverule. ***

This is a two state, isotropic, non-totalistic rule on the Moore neighbourhood.
The notation used to define the rule was originally proposed by Alan Hensel.
See http://www.ibiblio.org/lifepatterns/neighbors2.html for details

Bump

One of the ships from a haul by Rocknlol is a c/4d found in this rule. It is the only known c/4d in nearby B368/S257.

Code: Select all

x = 18, y = 18, rule = B368/S25

This seems to be a bit like Flock, as it quickly collapses into still lifes and oscillators.

I did a ~1500 by ~1500 soup and there was no spaceships
Not inactive any more! :D
