When a thread goes unnoticed for a while, it may be pushed down by new threads. However, a new message will cause the thread to rise to the top. I chose to bump this thread because it seems that it could use more votes. As stated in the OP, voting ends when all of the world enters 8 May.

No because this is the OCA equivalent of the POTY competition which has always gone into the Patterns forum and the OCA DOTY (correct me if I'm wrong) has always been in the OCA thread, and no because 8 May 2020 has not been reached.
