Might you have some kind of aggressive anti-virus program installed on your PC, that prevents HTML/script injection attacks by removing suspect HTML tags from "untrustworthy" web sites -- or something like that?

I think this is the likely culprit. Something is stripping out HTML tags.

It seems somewhat frightening that they've still discovered so few "species" of spaceships and puffers and so on, that they're giving each one a taxonomic classification and a Latin name. Wonder how long that would last if the conwaylife.com forum dwellers got hold of this rulespace?

Very impressive! I like the 3D Plot->Field display.

It seems somewhat frightening that they've still discovered so few "species" of spaceships and puffers and so on, that they're giving each one a taxonomic classification and a Latin name. Wonder how long that would last if the conwaylife.com forum dwellers got hold of this rulespace?

I think they'd love it. Perhaps there's a Lenia forum we can divert them to...
