It's obvius that the words after double-slash aren't translation, they are just the context of the sentence. But it is beyond my imagination that someone would revise them...

Let's write like a Chinese senior-high student! :)

Code: Select all

假如你是李华,你校新来留学生Peony对中国的马文化很感兴趣,请写一封信给她简要介绍中国人心目中的马。要点如下:
1.马在中国文化中的地位。
2.马的精神品质。
要点提示:生肖 Chinese zodiac
注意:
1.词数100词左右。
2.可适当增加细节以使行文连贯。
In English:

Code: Select all

Suppose you are Li Hua.A new exchange student, Peony, is interested in Chinese culture related to horses. Please write a letter to her to briefly introduce that.
Key points:
1.Horses' place in Chinese culture.
2.Horses' spirits.
Note:
1.Length about 100 words.
2.Details are allowed to make the composition fluent.

Search for one on an unbounded grid.

(I do know that it’s impossible, fortunately)

Yeah, It did seem obvious once I translated it via google.

Quoi? Je ne parlais clairement pas Français!

Which, given that I used Quoi wrong, seems right.

I’m learning French, though.

The only sandboxes are the ones that we don’t exist in but are subsets of the ones we exist in

I don’t exist in the universe— I access the internet with that wormhole out back. Just stick a router into it & stuff

Does anyone know where I can find a linkage that squares a number in the complex plane?
Or actually, an applet where you draw something in a box and the output of your doodle^2 is shown in another box?

Yeah, it's been tried, actually. Hasn't worked yet -- I might not even have gotten past carybe's spam filters -- but maybe every now and then it will be worth sending another trial email.
Shoot

It’s been tried, but the efforts were worthless.

Dragon:
c/6
Pushes 6-cell SLs
Loafer:
c/7
Pushes 7-cell SLs.

Copperhead
c/10
Pulls (!?!) 4(!?!?!?)-cell SLs.

Clearly, we should have already found a c/5 which pushes boats

Look for c/8os which push ponds (or mangoes or whatever) & c/8ds which push long ships (or long barges)
They clearly should have been discovered in a perfect universe, but the copperhead demonstrates we don’t exist in one.

(I mean, I do, but you don’t.)
