I have invented a game! The goal is to form a pattern with a given 25 houses of 8 colors, with zero to six houses per color, on a 5x5 grid.
red, which cannot have any red friends or neighbors.
green, which can only have a maximum of 2 colors of neighbors.
blue, which cannot have black neighbors.
black, which must have at least 1 black neighbor or be on an edge.
yellow, which must have at least 1 red, green or yellow neighbor or must be on the edge.
purple, which can either have 4 or no purple neighbors or friends. purples that are connected to a purple with this status do not need to have the same status.
white, which has no preference.
and orange, which cannot have purple friends or green neighbors.
neighbors are the four orthogonally adjacent houses to any specified house, and friends are the four diagonally adjacent houses and the four houses orthogonally two cells away.
it has been proven that any combination of colors is possible, so challenge you all to try these:
