22k

Post by drc »

22k=B2-k/S2-k, which has identical BS conditions. It has several cool structures like this rake:

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 4, rule = B2-k_S2-k
2o2$bo2bo$4bo!
It has p1, p2, p3 and p4 photons:

Code: Select all

x = 21, y = 4, rule = B2-k_S2-k
b2o4b2o4b2o4b2o$o2bo2bo2bo5bo$19bo$8bo!
As well as a p3 c replicator:

Code: Select all

x = 2, y = 1, rule = B2-k_S2-k
2o!
And more complex ships:

Code: Select all

x = 57, y = 30, rule = B2-k_S2-k
b2o3b2o7b2o7b2o4b2o7b2o4b2o7b2o$14bo2bo5bo2bo2bo2bo5bo2bo2bo2bo5bo2bo$
b3ob3o$18b2ob2o11b3o11bobobo$20bo29bo$19bobo11bobobo12bo2$33bo3bo$33bo
3bo$35bo$3bobo$bobobobo8$o7bo$o3bo3bo$o7bo6$3bobo$4bo$3bobo!
The only still life I know is this:

Code: Select all

x = 6, y = 6, rule = B2-k_S2-k
2bo$b2obo$4b2o$2o$bob2o$3bo!
This rule even has a smaller version of anchor:

Code: Select all

x = 8, y = 5, rule = B2-k_S2-k
bo5bo$o5bo$bo$6bo$7bo!
The only other oscillators I know are these two from LFOD:

Code: Select all

x = 8, y = 4, rule = B2-k_S2-k
bo3bo$o3bo$7bo$6bo!
As always, a sierpinski builder:

Code: Select all

x = 11, y = 4, rule = B2-k_S2-k
b2o5b2o$o2bo3bo2bo2$2bobobobo!

Backrake:

Code: Select all

x = 6, y = 6, rule = B2-k_S2-k
bo$bo3bo$5bo$o2bobo$o$bo!
Bigger siderake:

Code: Select all

x = 11, y = 24, rule = B2-k_S2-k
5b2o$4bo2bo$9b2o$5bo$9b2o$4bo2bo$5bo$4bobo$9b2o2$9b2o3$5bobo$6bo$5bobo
6$3o2$3bo!
Another still life:

Code: Select all

x = 15, y = 15, rule = B2-k_S2-k
10bo$8bob2o$3bo3b2o$bob2o6b2o$2o6b2obo$4b2o3bo$b2obo2bo$2bo3bobo3bo$7b
o2bob2o$5bo3b2o$3bob2o6b2o$2b2o6b2obo$6b2o3bo$3b2obo$4bo!
Another oscillator:

Code: Select all

x = 8, y = 7, rule = B2-k_S2-k
o$bo$3bo2bo$3bo3bo$3bo$bo$o!
This natural reaction was fun to watch:

Code: Select all

x = 29, y = 29, rule = B2-k_S2-k
3bo$o8bo$b2o4bo$7bo6$17bo$15bo$15bo4$27bo$26bo$25bo$23bo$23bo3$26bo2$
26b3o$23bo$21bo3bo$22b2o$25b2o!
Wow, there are a LOT of exotic ships:

Code: Select all

x = 85, y = 10, rule = B2-k_S2-k
b2o9b2o4b2o4b2o5b2o4b2o5b2o4b2o11b2o4b2o11b2o$o2bo2b2o3bo2bo2bo2bo2bo

Looks interesting. Ruletable? (Don't have access to a computer atm)

Code: Select all

@RULE B2-k_S2-k

*** File autogenerated by saverule. ***

This is a two state, isotropic, non-totalistic rule on the Moore neighbourhood.
The notation used to define the rule was originally proposed by Alan Hensel.
See http://www.ibiblio.org/lifepatterns/neighbors2.html for details

Another siderake:

and sierpinski breeder:

This thing has a lot of siderakes:

Two notes (apologies if I sound rude):
1) drc, it would be appreciated if you could edit your latest post and put the ruletable in a code block; you probably forgot, it's okay.
2) Three of the four siderakes in this thread are actually the same siderake in different phases.
LifeWiki: Like Wikipedia but with more spaceships. [citation needed]
