How do you generate non-totalistic rule tables?

Post by ygh »

I know there are scripts, but they don't work for me. Python doesn't seem to work on my computer, and online python interpreters give errors. Help?

Have you installed Python?

Also, make sure Golly is 64bit

I did install Python (it didn't work with Golly), but I might need to check if Golly is 64-bit. Thank you!

Deleted golly, downloaded 64-bit version, downloaded 64-bit python 2.7.11.
Python icon appears on .py scripts, but when I click on them, Golly crashes. (Which, by the way, is exactly the same as what happened last time.)

EDIT: Used 2.7.10, it works! :D
