xp60 (probably by speedydelete) that I don't believe has been noticed yet

Glider edgeshooting 2T collision:

Code: Select all

x = 8, y = 14, rule = B3-qr4k5cek6c/S23-a4er56aek

EDIT:
Reduced the p42 C gun using a better synthesis:

Code: Select all

x = 23, y = 23, rule = B3-qr4k5cek6c/S23-a4er56aek

EDIT 3:
Simple p54 T gun, constructed using the reaction from the p27 gun but with mixed sparkers:

Fun sparky p10, (probably by me?)

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 9, rule = B3-qr4k5cek6c/S23-a4er56aek

Anyway, I suppose we should try and find some conduits and hasslers and other objects etc now, apgsearching is hitting diminishing returns

I6_I6 wrote: October 24th, 2026, 2:07 am This rule is unbelievable! Right off the bat, it's omniperiodic! :mrgreen: This is the proof:
You can build a p36 tub signal loop like this:

Code: Select all

x = 18, y = 14, rule = B3-qr4k5cek6c/S23-a4er56aek
8bo$7bobo$4bo3bo$3bobo7bo$4bo7b2o$11b3o2bo$bo13bobo$obo13bo$bo3bo$4bo
bo6bo$5bo6bobo$9bo3bo$8bobo$9bo!
Lengthening it like this increases the period by 8:

Code: Select all

x = 22, y = 16, rule = B3-qr4k5cek6c/S23-a4er56aek
12bo$11bobo$8bo3bo$7bobo7bo$4bo3bo7b2o$3bobo9b3o2bo$4bo14bobo$20bo$bo
$obo14bo$bo3bo10bobo$4bobo6bo3bo$5bo6bobo$9bo3bo$8bobo$9bo!
Changing the length of the loop and adding more signals should cover all periods (28+8n)/k greater than 6, where n and k are natural. However, this won't cover multiples of 8, but that's fine, since margoluses cover all even periods.
Loops with periods that are multiples of 8 are possible, as demonstrated in this P56:

Code: Select all

x = 16, y = 24, rule = B3-qr4k5cek6c/S23-a4er56aek
6bo$5bobo$6bo$10bo$4bo4bobo$3b3o4bo3bo$3b2o8bobo$14bo$bo$obo8bo$bo8bo
bo$11bo$4bo$3bobo8bo$4bo8bobo$14bo$bo$obo8bo$bo3bo4bobo$4bobo4bo$5bo$
9bo$8bobo$9bo!
There's a lot you can do by just reassembling known components.

Code: Select all

x = 192, y = 53, rule = B3/S23
