I'm apgsearching C1 and D8_1 of that variant. Here's what I've found so far.
An incredibly smoky period-72 block puffer.
Code:
Select all
x = 8, y = 32, rule = B38/S12i35
3bo$2b3o$2bobo$bo3bo$2bobo$b2obo$b2o$3bo$2bo$4bo$bobo$b3o$2bo3$6bo$7b

2ob2o!
Corderized (12c/24):
Code:
Select all
x = 36, y = 42, rule = B38/S12i35
$22bo$21b3o$21bobo$13bo6bo3bo$12b3o6bobo$12bobo5bo2bo$11bo3bo4bo$12bo

There's no way you couldn't make a rake with this, one far smaller than the current ones in Bug life.
A period-12 strong sparker.
Code:
Select all
x = 5, y = 5, rule = B38/S12i35
b3o$obobo$2ob2o$obobo$b3o!
The new 3c/7 spaceship can be reflected 180 degrees by a dot spark, so here it is being reflected by the p12.
Code:
Select all
x = 25, y = 7, rule = B38/S12i35
2b3o$24bo$o2bo2bo15bo$obobobo15bo$o2bo2bo15bo$24bo$2b3o!
And here's a period-156 loop derived from it.
Code:
Select all
x = 93, y = 34, rule = B38/S12i35
4$15b3o$15bobo2$15b3o51b3o$69b3o$15b3o51bobo$9b2obobobobobob2o20b2o20b

This rule is rather slow to search, especially in D8_1, probably due to the common puffer. But these are some good findings to start with.
EDIT: This turns the 3c/7 into a Springtail but unfortunately destroys the oscillator.
Code:
Select all
x = 17, y = 16, rule = B38/S12i35
2b3o2$o2bo2bo$obobobo$o2bo2bo2$2b3o7$13b2o$10b3obobo$13b2o!
Also, small period-14 obo! sparker.
Code:
Select all
x = 7, y = 5, rule = B38/S12i35
2o3b2o2$2bobo$2bobo$2bobo!
So now we have two natural, somewhat high-period sparkers.
