Nice rule, three types of spaceships which is cool, also you can delete the replicator to just get the rake.
I guess that by "three types" you mean these three with maxpop of 4 (p1, p3, p4):
Code:
Select all
x = 22, y = 3, rule = B2ace/S
b2o8b2o7b2o$o2bo6bo$20bo!
However, the rule has many more spaceships (actually, I believe it has infinitely many spaceships), some with far larger periods, although all of them are photons. Here are: one p2, two other p3, two p6, one p8, p12, p18, p24, and a quite insane p48. All of them from apgsearch.
Code:
Select all
x = 142, y = 23, rule = B2ace/S
b2o2b2o7b2o8b2o11b2o8b2o2b2o12b2o3b2o10b2o2b2o16b2o13b2o15b2o$o3bo2bo

obo20bo$30bo6bobo7b3o86bobo$25b3o$47b3o2$64bobo41b2o$110bo$134bobobobo
2$107bo3$122b2o$124bo$121bo3$119bobo!
The "even crazier" stuff can start from just 4 cells: that is, this tiny pattern fills all 4 quadrants of plane with asymmetric, but beautiful chaos. Let it evolve for a couple thousand generations and see how many different moving objects appear.
Code:
Select all
x = 3, y = 2, rule = B2ace/S
2o$obo!
