Find adjustable synthesis that works for every orthogonoid
Find all logic gates

Find a puffer

This might be an example of a "life-emerging" rule.
Not sure if we have a way for all the smaller adjustable orthogonals (if this is not the "orthogonoid" mentioned, my bad, but it appears to be the only thing called such here), but there is an adjustable mechanism to turn a photon into I believe a 2c/2n+10 with input time 4n+20, where n is the distance between the two downward reflectors used to make the blue cells (n is at minimum 2). They can remove the eater on the side if the input takes any longer I think.

Distance 2:

Code: Select all

x = 38, y = 74, rule = PhotonsAdjustables
14.B$14.A27$14.B$14.A13$32.C$16.C.C$.C30.C2$.C17.C16.C$14.C$36.C$16.C

C20.C.C$8.C22.C.C$25.C7$2.C2$2.C$3.C.C29.C.C$28.C.C!
Distance 8:

Code: Select all

x = 44, y = 98, rule = PhotonsAdjustables
14.B$14.A51$14.B$14.A13$38.C$16.C.C$.C36.C2$.C17.C22.C$14.C$42.C$16.C

C.C26.C.C$8.C28.C.C$31.C7$2.C2$2.C$3.C.C35.C.C$34.C.C!
I think I've seen a fast enough way to shrink one of these ships using a couple photons that could be used if any of the smaller ones are still missing, but I can't exactly remember how. Also, extremely sorry if you meant something else by "synthesis," I had assumed it didn't mean a simple photon synthesis given how we already knew how to make the blue cells, I also assumed it hadn't meant a way to extend one given we have a pull mechanism that can be applied to large enough ones. If this isn't useful in any way, please notify me, I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is worth posting here on the forums.

As with everything else I've posted, these can probably be made a bit smaller if I had to guess.
