Assumedly you mean e^.9 - 248^(sin(ln(248))?

Anyway:

Take n to be sin(e) + (1/(pi^2+e))
Then:
sin(e) + cos(ine) = 2.43805577... (+0.0000080965...)

By the way, this is my smallest increase on this thread yet, with 5 zeros after the decimal point.

Unsure if this breaks the rules or not, but
3.3204293251037598 + 1.1749275922775269π - 0.4633941948413849π^2 = 2.438055832656990... (+6.26570...*10^-8)

EDIT: Better solution but with the truncated version of the previous number:
-1.0157347931294956 - 1.408117929470999π + sqrt(4.906810432205029π) + cbrt(3.3540127092646848π)+ 4rt(3.0471450767839223π) = 2.438055770000000539116... (+5.39116...*10^-16)
where 4rt = 4th root, cbrt = cube root, sqrt = square root
