Pretty nice work!
As for the naming part, because you are the main contributor, the name of the spaceship depends on you.
A small tip for you:the convention is to name the spaceship after a kind of insect.

Based on you leaving it to more people, i'm just gonna treat annelid as an official name if you're fine withit

It's not really a convention; it's more like a trend. Counterexamples include Mannaz and Waterbear. MDA renamed the Wiki article to Annelid, but it should be up to Brithos for the final decision as the creator of the spaceship.

Once again, brithos decided to leave it up to us. Let's think of names and do a poll (maybe)
My potential name: Annelid (from it's several triangular segments and the common name for annelid is segmented worm) (MDA whoever that is agrees too)

Wait a minute......before giving it a name, is there anybody simplifying it first, like what we did to Solifuge or Leafbug 2? This “Annelid” is so record-breaking huge that even 1 generation takes 1 second on my phone.

Well, you could just keep the name after simplifying it.

x = 27, y = 15, rule = LifeHistory

The person who assembles the final pattern typically have naming rights. But you can pass if you want.

I normate “praying mantis” (or just mantis)
Naming should go in https://conwaylife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3773
