Search requests other than apgsearch

Post by ThePlayzr »

Want a search done, but don't have the software, or are busy doing a different search? Request in this thread and someone can do it for you! Here you can request for any search using programs other than apgsearch. Just one rule:
Do not request for searches that will take longer than a week. Anything that you know will take longer than an hour please mention how long you believe it will take.

I posted this somewhere else before, but could someone find a 90 degree reflector for this ship?

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 3, rule = B3ai46n8/S2-i35jr67e8

Some objects that I know for a fact exist, but haven't been able to refind:
  • 31c/1636o in B2cei3acnry4-aeky5cikny6-e/S1c2-cn3cejnr4cijnqt5cekq6cin7c (Carboniferous). I mentioned this one in an email I sent to H. H. P. M. P. Cole on 27 April 2025:
    I wrote:April 27th, 2025, 4:32 amI found a 31c/1636 ship, but then I lost it.
  • p67 oscillator in B3aeijy4et5c/S2-i3-ckqr5i6c, with C4 symmetry.
  • p83 and p97 oscillators in B3air4aceirw567/S2-a3-aejr4cknqy5ejky8 (5W).

Code: Select all

#C [[ ZOOM 8 TRACK -3/87 -1/87 ]]
x = 4, y = 5, rule = B35ay/S2-i3-e4ey5j
2bo$b2o$2obo$bobo$2b2o!
Why do I even bother anymore?

Can someone use a program to list out all the still lives in B3/S23-a5 with 11, 12, 13, and 14 cells (all different lists) please? I know RLS can do it, but it produces too many duplicates for me to filter through, so can someone use a different program to create a list with no duplicates?
Estimated search time: ~2 minutes for 11 cells, multiple hours for 13 cells, a day or 2 for 14 cells.

Well, I don't know how to search for a cell count (maybe use LLS?), but I do can search for a BB like what I did for p2 and p3 in GoL.

Thanks for offering, but someone has already done this and posted in another thread. They did this by piping RustLifeSrc into an apgsearch symmetry.

Can someone run INT gencols between the p48 and a glider in B34wyz/S2-n3?

While you're at it, a 2g coll list will also be great!
