Poetic coincidences

Wanted to start a stash of CA coincidences that aren't as quantifiable as those in the mathematical-coincidences thread. "Poetic" is naturally extremely subjective, but I'd like to leave it up to people's intuition without trying to clamp down too rigorously. Here are my two to start with:

1. I hadn't seen it pointed out before this post from Paul Callahan that Eater 1 innately contains a dead glider, and it's possible that this went unnoticed for 50 years:

Update 2: [...] it threw me for an instant when that white "glider" showed up in the eater before I realized it represents the 5 dead cells in the neighborhood.

2. Just saw that this one is already in the LifeWiki DYKs, but Dave Greene posted a loafer soup as an April Fool's Day prank and made a joke about it being an auspicious day for apgsearch to pick. Two years later, the first natural loafer appeared on April Fool's Day.

In 1996, a paper was published regarding a Life-like rule that the paper described as "worthy of the name". The initials of its author, Jean-Claude Heudin (JCH), are very similar to that of John Horton Conway (JHC).
